**Education and Youth development committee.
The main objectives of this committee will be to:
• Create scholarship and grant programs to assist qualified students in our communities.
• Organize the African students’ associations on college and university Campuses and sponsor
qualified programs.
• Conduct conferences and symposiums on topics related to raising awareness about the social and
contemporary issues facing the people of African descent.
• Design programs and projects aimed at bringing the homeland Africans and the rest of the African
Diaspora closer together (Bridging the Gap).
• Create tutorial services in sciences and mathematics to assist the inner city students in Newark.
• Organize educational and cultural exchange programs by bringing young and adult students to Africa
and vise versa.
• Establish a sustainable internship programs that allow college and university students to research
Africa and to help promote the programs of the Commission.
